About Us

Are you interested in getting more involved in the Republican Party? Do you want to get to know your elected officials? Are you looking for a place to network with women who have the same passion for politics that you do? The Upstate Republican Women is the place for you.

We are a group of Republicans who work to involve women in the cause of good government through active participation in the Republican Party. We promote the party’s principles, its platform, and its candidates. We work for the election of Republican Party nominees at all levels of government. We lobby for legislation on various issues. We give back to the community through our Caring for America projects. We participate in and support the South Carolina Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women.

The Upstate Republican Women, founded in 1989, is made up of women from all walks of life, including elected officials, business owners, educators, and retirees who are joined by a common purpose.

We are members of the South Carolina Federation of Republican Women, founded in 1961. Today the SCFRW is vibrant and productive. It is made up of more than 1100 members statewide with twenty-seven active local units. The SCFRW is divided into six districts according to the congressional districts. Unit clubs participate in local, state and national campaigns.
